Well, here we are. I created this account/site 9 months ago and 9 months later I am making an update. Now when I made this site I was all in and on the indieweb train. I still am, but...life. I had these grandiose visions of what I thought my site would look like at this point in time, and it was not this. Do I still have those visions, of course, maybe more like fever dreams, but whatever you want to call them, they are there.
The delay with the development of this site, if I am being honest, has a lot to do with being overwhelmed. There is alot to do, to learn, and looking at some of the sites that people have created, it is nothing short of amazing. As a matter of fact I have come here several times over the past 9 months and without fail, get lost browsing through these sites. After some time, I go back to my dashboard, look at the blank canvas, close the laptop, and walk away. Not very practical, not very productive.
That brings me, us to today. I sat down to work on this site, got to looking at the other sites, but today I resisted the urge to just close up shop and call it a night. I made this post, this very post that you are reading. Sure, it is not really developing the site to the visions in my head, but it is an update and let it serve as a ball rolling of sorts.
